Ayios Philon and Dipkarpaz
Ruins of an early Christian basilica and a 12th-century church right by the water, on the site of ancient Karpasia.

The foundations of a 5th-century basilica with mosaic fragments and a 12th-century stone church survive on a small bay.
In the nearby village of Dipkarpaz (Rizokarpaso) Greek and Turkish Cypriots still live side by side.
Further along the coast lie the ruins of Afendrika and empty beaches.
