Long Beach (İskele)
A long sandy beach with a gentle slope and beach clubs — and North Cyprus’s fastest-growing residential area.
Long Beach stretches for several kilometres north of Famagusta; the shallow entry makes it great for children.
Dozens of residential complexes have gone up here; İskele is now the main area where foreigners buy flats.
Next door is the fishing village of Boğaz with seafood tavernas.
Tips
- Club loungers are paid; there are free stretches too.
- Often windy in the afternoon.
- Buying here? Visit on a weekday and in the evening to check construction noise.
