Vouni Palace
Ruins of a 5th-century BC palace on a hilltop above the sea — with the best view on the west coast.

The palace was built around 500 BC, when Cyprus was under Persian rule. From the hilltop you see Morphou Bay and the Troodos mountains.
Foundations of dozens of rooms, stairs and cisterns survive.
It burned down about a century after it was built.
Tips
- Steep, narrow access road.
